Romania was a place that I didn’t know much about. I had no real reason to travel there or idea of what was there to see. When we had the option to travel there for IVSA this year I jumped on the opportunity to go see this country. It gave me a opportunity to go to a place that I probably wouldn’t go on my own.

I found the people to be so friendly and kind. Everyone offered to help me or give me directions without even having to ask. The countryside was beautiful. Even though we still had lectures and veterinary related activities, we still got to experience a lot of the culture and the see a lot of the country.

While I don’t think I could live here permanently, I would highly recommend everyone visit! The people and culture will not let you down!
